Russian Defense Ministry delegation discusses cooperation with its Indian colleagues

The issues and prospects for the development of cooperation were negotiated in the framework of the working subgroup of the intergovernmental commission

MOSCOW, August 23. /TASS/. A Russian Defense Ministry delegation has taken part in a meeting of a working subgroup on planning military cooperation between Russia and India, according to the website of the Russian Defense Ministry.

"On August 20-22, 2026, in the city of New Delhi, a delegation of the Main Directorate for International Military Cooperation of the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation took part in a meeting of the working subgroup on planning military cooperation of the Russian-Indian intergovernmental commission on military and military-technical cooperation," the ministry said.

During the negotiations, issues and prospects for the development of defense cooperation were discussed.
