MOSCOW, February 26. /TASS/. Aerial reconnaissance of Russia’s Battlegroup East has detected the advance of a Ukrainian armored group south of Donetsk and eliminated two tanks with Krasnopol smart munitions, Battlegroup Spokesman Alexander Gordeyev told TASS.
"In the course of active actions, an attack by an assault group from the 58th mechanized infantry brigade was repelled near Novodonetskoye. Air reconnaissance has uncovered an advance by the adversary’s armored group in the direction of Velikaya Novoselka. Two tanks were eliminated with Krasnopol precision-strike munitions," the military official said.
According to him, over 24 hours, attempts by the adversary to bolster the frontline and rotate troops have been thwarted in the vicinity of Staromayorskoye, Rovnopol, Lugovskoye and Zagornoye.
