Frode Berg told court he was not guilty

MOSCOW, April 2. /TASS/. Norwegian subject Frode Berg, accused of spying in Russia, had been gathering information about Russian nuclear-powered submarines, Prosecutor Milana Digayeva told the Moscow City Court, where the defendant stands trial.

"Berg had been gathering information about the Russian Navy’s submarines he had received from an employee of a Russian defense industrial plant who was acting under the control of special services," she said. Berg cooperated with the Norwegian intelligence service for financial remuneration.

On Tuesday, Berg told court he was not guilty.
