MOSCOW, January 29. /TASS/. The Tula Plant (a subsidiary of Rostec’s Roskhimzaschita) completed the development of the newest RKhM-9 nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) reconnaissance vehicle, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexey Krivoruchko announced Friday.

"The Tula plant completed the development of the Bogomaz project, creating the newest RKhM-9 NBC reconnaissance vehicle, equipped with brand new instrument set," Krivoruchko said.

He also disclosed that Uralvagonzavod (UVZ) shipped the first batch of Terminator tank support vehicles, built on the T-90A tank chassis.

The RKhB-9 vehicle is built on the Taifun vehicle family chassis and is purposed for NBC reconnaissance on the battlefield. It is equipped with new instruments that can take samples automatically, so that the crew does not need to go outside into the contaminated area. Its efficiency exceeds the capabilities of previous NBC vehicles twofold.
