WASHINGTON, March 2. /TASS/. US energy major Chevron was instructed by Israeli authorities to suspend gas production at the Leviathan gas field in the Mediterranean amid the escalation, Reuters said, citing a company's statement.

The instruction to suspend production was received from the Energy Ministry of Israel, the company said.

Qatar Energy also announced the suspension of liquefied natural gas production in connection with Iran’s air strikes.
