At least 66 people killed in Gaza Strip by an Israeli strike — Al Jazeera

It was also reported that over 100 people were wounded

DUBAI, November 21. /TASS/. At least 66 people were killed in the Gaza Strip after the Israeli army struck the Kamal Adwan hospital complex in the north of the enclave, the Qatari television channel Al Jazeera reported.

As the channel clarified, most of those killed in the strike on the hospital and surrounding houses were children and women. It was also reported that over 100 people were wounded.

The situation in the Middle East escalated dramatically when on October 7, 2023 armed Hamas supporters from the Gaza Strip penetrated Israeli territory, killing residents of border settlements and seizing more than 240 hostages.

In retaliation, Israel launched a military operation in the enclave in order to destroy the military and political structures of Hamas and liberate all those hostages. The hostilities in the Gaza Strip continue to this day.
