Israeli airstrikes kill 14 Lebanese, injure 87 over past day — Health Ministry

BEIRUT, November 20. /TASS/. A total of 14 people were killed and 87 injured as a result of Israeli airstrikes on Lebanese cities and settlements over the past 24 hours, the Lebanese Health Ministry said.

"The highest number of dead (13) and injured (84) was recorded in the southern regions of Nabatieh, Saida and Tyre," the statement posted on the ministry’s X page said. "One civilian was killed in Mount Lebanon and three were injured in the northern Baalbek-Hermel region," the ministry added.

The data on civilian casualties as a result of Israeli shelling since tensions escalated in October 2023 has also been updated. Thus, the death toll rose from 3,544 to 3,558, while the number of injured rose from 15,036 to 15,123.
