UK, US to deliver air strikes on Houthi facilities in coming hours

LONDON, January 12. /TASS/. The United States and the United Kingdom will deliver air strikes on military facilities of Yemen’s Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement in the coming hours, The Times reporter Steven Swinford wrote on the X social network (formerly known as Twitter).

According to him, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has briefed members of the UK Cabinet "on imminent military intervention this evening."

Labour Party Leader Keir Starmer and Speaker of the House of Commons Lindsay Hoyle have also been briefed about the plans, the journalist added.
