Rockets fired at US base near Al-Omar oil field in east Syria

According to the Al Mayadeen, the Islamic Front for the Iraqi Resistance Shia movement claimed responsibility for the attack

BEIRUT, November 9. /TASS/. At least 15 rockets were fired at a US military base near the Al-Omar oil field in eastern Syria in the early hours of Thursday, the Al Mayadeen television reported.

According to the report, the Islamic Front for the Iraqi Resistance Shia movement claimed responsibility for the attack.

Earlier, its forces attacked a US base, located near the Conoco gas field in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor province, firing six rockets.

The consequences of those attack are unknown at this point.
