US troops come under fire in eastern Syria – TV

BEIRUT, November 7. /TASS/. The US Armed Forces servicemen present at a military base under their control near the Koniko gas field in Syria's Deir ez-Zor province came under fire, Al Mayadeen TV channel reported, citing sources.

According to them, the sound of explosions was heard in the area of the base.

No information about the details of the attack or its aftermath was provided.
