STOCKHOLM, April 3. /TASS/. Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin has recognized the defeat of her Social Democratic Party at the parliamentary elections.
"Democracy has spoken," she said on Sunday addressing the party’s supporters when the voting was over.
She recognized the victory of Peteri Orpo’s National Coalition Party and thanked her supporters.
Finland held parliamentary elections on April 2. Preliminary results are expected to be made public later in the day whereas official results are to be released on April 5.
