BUDAPEST, March 31. /TASS/. The risk of another world war is quite palpable, and that is not an exaggeration, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban told Kossuth Radio on Friday.

As the European Union continues discussing sending troops to Ukraine, this may lead to a direct conflict with Russia, he warned.

According to Orban, the West has been sending increasingly powerful weapons for continued hostilities against Russia, therefore the scenario of WWIII "is no longer some literary exaggeration." "Now it is a real danger," the Hungarian premier emphasized.

"European leaders are already considering whether EU countries could send some peacekeeping-type forces [to Ukraine]", Orban said. "This would be crossing another line," he concluded.
