Air raid alert declared in Ukraine’s central, southern regions — authorities

Similar warnings were issued by the authorities of the Poltava, Cherkassy and Kirovograd regions and the cities of Zaporozhye and Odessa

KIEV, October 17. /TASS/. Air raid alerts were declared in several southern and central regions of Ukraine in the early hours of Monday, local authorities said.

"Air raid alert [is declared] for the entire region," the head of the Nikolayev Region’s military administration, Vitaly Kim, wrote in his Telegram channel.

Similar warnings were issued by the authorities of the Poltava, Cherkassy and Kirovograd regions and the cities of Zaporozhye and Odessa.

According to the map, compiled by the Zerkalo Nedely portal, air raid alert is also in place in the Sumy, Kharkov and Dnepropetrovsk regions.
