Explosions heard in Ukraine’s Zaporozhye, Nikolayev; air raid sirens go off in Kiev — TV

According to the Public TV’s official Telegram channel, the blasts in Zaporozhye were confirmed by city administration head Alexander Starukh

MOSCOW, October 12. /TASS/. Ukraine’s public television reported that blasts were heard in the Ukrainian cities of Nikolayev and Zaporozhye in the early hours of Wednesday, while air raid sirens went off in the capital Kiev.

According to the Public TV’s official Telegram channel, the blasts in Zaporozhye were confirmed by city administration head Alexander Starukh. Reports of blasts in Nikolayev and air raid sirens in Kiev came from the channel’s correspondents in those areas.

According to the Apostrophe portal, air raid alert was declared in the Kiev, Sumy, Cherkassy, Kirovograd, Nikolayev, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov and Poltava regions, as well as the Kiev-controlled section of the Zaporozhye Region.
