Azerbaijan proposes peace treaty to Yerevan, Turkey’s top diplomat says

As Mevlut Cavusoglu said, Turkey is seeking peace and dialogue between Azerbaijan and Armenia

ANKARA, October 11. /TASS/. Baku has proposed a peace agreement to Yerevan envisaging "a return of occupied lands," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in an interview with TVNET on Tuesday.

"Armenia and Azerbaijan should sign a peace agreement. Armenia must stop provocations. We are in constant contact with both sides. Azerbaijan suggested a peace agreement be signed, and all it cared for was the return of occupied lands. We are sincerely seeking peace and dialogue [between Azerbaijan and Armenia]," Turkey’s foreign policy chief said.
