VLADIVOSTOK, October 8. /TASS/. Registration has been closed for the 6th Russia-ASEAN Youth Summit, with a total of 10,700 applications submitted from Russia and ASEAN member states, the press service of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) told TASS.
FEFU will host the 6th Youth Summit of Russia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) from October 21 to 26.
"Registration has been closed for the 6th Russia-ASEAN Youth Summit, which is being held in accordance with the agreements reached at the Russia-ASEAN summit marking its anniversary, attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin. A total of 10,700 applications were submitted for the summit, which will be held at Far Eastern Federal University from October 21 to 26, 2026," the press service said.
The university noted that 4,479 applications from Russian and ASEAN citizens aged 18 to 35 who completed the competition task were admitted for expert evaluation. Each entry was assessed based on five criteria: the candidate’s experience, argumentation, originality, relevance of the proposed youth initiative and quality of development. One in four entries scored 20 or more points out of a possible 25.
The selection results will be announced after the expert evaluation is completed. Summit participants will be provided with tickets, accommodation and meals.
