Skies over St. Petersburg open, temporary restrictions lifted — city authorities

The St. Petersburg government said earlier on Tuesday, without specifying the reasons, that flights at the city’s airport had been delayed until noon

MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. All temporary restrictions on flights at Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg have been lifted, as reported on Tuesday on the telegram channel of the city government.

"The skies over St. Petersburg are open, all temporary restrictions have been lifted," the message said.

The St. Petersburg government said earlier on Tuesday, without specifying the reasons, that flights at the city’s airport had been delayed until noon. The move also caused flight delays at other airports in Russia’s Northwestern Federal District

Meanwhile, the first four flights landed at Pulkovo after the lifting of restrictions as of 12:50 p.m. Moscow time (09:50 GMT), according to the flight schedule on the airport’s website.
