US astronaut hands over ISS command to Russian cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev

ISS, May 4./TASS/. US astronaut Thomas Marshburn has handed over the ISS command to Russian cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev, who is also TASS special correspondent.

In a ceremony aboard the International Space Station, the astronaut handed over ‘the keys’ to the ISS to a Russian member of the international crew.

Currently, on board the ISS are Roscosmos cosmonauts Oleg Artemyev Denis Matveyev and Sergey Korsakov, NASA astronauts Raja Chari, Thomas Marshburn, Kayla Barron, Kjell Lindgren, Robert Hines and Jessica Watkins, as well as European Space Agency astronauts Matthias Maurer and Samantha Cristoforetti.

Marshburn, Chari, Barron and Maurer will leave the space station on Thursday.
