Ukrainian shelling kills civilian in Russia’s Kursk Region, governor says

MOSCOW, December 23. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military’s shelling has killed a civilian in Russia’s Kursk Region, Governor Roman Starovoit wrote on Telegram.

"The village of Alexeyevka in the Glushkovsky District came under Ukrainian fire several times today. About 40 munitions were fired. One of the munitions hit a residential building, killing a civilian. I offer my condolences to his family and friends," he said.

The governor added that the attack had damaged several homes, administrative buildings and social facilities, as well as a power line.

Earlier, a civilian suffered wounds in a Ukrainian shelling attack on the city of Gorlovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Mayor Ivan Prikhodko said.
