Power supply fully restored in Russia’s Belgorod after shelling of substation

At first, the power engineers provided socially significant objects with electricity according to the reserve schemes, then they started supplying power to household consumers

TASS, October 15. Power engineers have fully restored power supply in Russia’s Belgorod after eliminating a fire at the substation, which caught fire on Friday due to Ukrainian shelling, Belgorodenergo's press service told TASS.

"Power engineers of Belgorodenergo, a branch of the Rosseti Center, restored electricity supplies to consumers in Belgorod’s Kharkovskaya Gora district and the Dubovoye settlement by 23:10 Moscow time. The lines were de-energized as a result of a technological failure at the Dubovoye 110 kV substation," the press service said.

At first, the power engineers provided socially significant objects with electricity according to the reserve schemes, then they started supplying power to household consumers.

The technological failure occurred on Friday evening at the Dubovoye substation, which supplies power to Belgorod’s Kharkovskaya Gora district and the village of Dubovoye.
