US makes no official statements on slowdown in Starlink service for Ukraine — Kremlin

It is too early to jump to conclusions, Dmitry Peskov said

MOSCOW, October 14. /TASS/. There has been no official statement from the US on the slowdown of the Starlink service for the Ukrainian armed forces, so it is too early to jump to conclusions, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

"How do we know this? This is just completely scattered information. 'What if…' Indeed, there is a lot of information suggesting that there are some restrictions on the provision of intelligence and early warning information about our missile launches," the spokesman said, commenting on the slowdown in Starlink services. "But, on the other hand, there have also been statements from Washington that the assistance is continuing," the spokesman pointed out.

"We need to wait for some more or less specific information here," Peskov stressed.

"We don’t know what the US has done. How can we speculate about what it can or cannot do?" he noted, responding to a question about whether Washington could do more than just slow down Starlink. "We haven’t heard any official statements from representatives of [Elon] Musk’s company [which owns the service], nor have we heard any official statements from representatives of the Kiev regime on this matter," the spokesman stressed.

"We’ve heard statements from [US President Donald] Trump that aid is continuing. Let’s analyze the information as it comes in and not rush to conclusions," Peskov concluded.
