MOSCOW, November 18. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready for a conversation with special US envoy Steve Witkoff and Turkish representatives if they want to inform Moscow about the results of negotiations with Vladimir Zelensky, Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"If any of the people you’ve mentioned deems it necessary to inform the Russian side, of course, President Putin will be open to conversation," Peskov said, when asked whether Putin planned contacts with Witkoff or Turkish representatives after the last talks with Zelensky in Turkey.
Earlier, Zelensky said that on November 19 he would visit Turkey to "intensify efforts in negotiations" on the Ukrainian settlement. According to him, the delegation will present "worked-out solutions" to the partners. He also wants to resume prisoner of war exchanges. Zelensky did not specify with whom he intends to negotiate, or the content of the prepared messages.
Reuters news agency, citing a Turkish source, reported that US special envoy Steve Witkoff plans to visit Turkey on November 19 and participate in the scheduled talks with Zelensky.
