One person killed, four wounded in Ukrainian attack on borderline Belgorod Region

Regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov expressed his condolences to the victim’s family and friends

MOSCOW, April 7. /TASS/. Ukraine’s armed forces have attacked Russia’s borderline Belgorod Region using four unmanned aerial vehicles killing a young woman and wounding four other people, including two children, regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel.

"As a result of repelling an air attack by the Ukrainian armed forces, in the village of Shagarovka, shrapnel hit a vehicle with a family of six. Unfortunately, a young woman was killed. She died of sustained wounds on site before an ambulance crew arrived," he said, expressing his condolences to the victim’s family and friends.

The governor also said that a man, an 18-year-old young man and two children sustained wounds. They have all been taken to medical facilities.

He also specified that a commercial enterprise in the village was damaged by shrapnel.
