New teams of mercenaries from France, Georgia arrive in Kharkov — underground resistance

A similar ‘influx of mercenaries’ has also been seen in Sumy

MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS/. Mercenaries from France and Georgia, as well as militants from the outlawed in Russia terrorist paramilitary group Russian Volunteer Corps have arrived in Kharkov, Sergey Lebedev from the pro-Russian underground resistance told TASS.

"Fresh groups of mercenaries have arrived in Kharkov, including gunmen from the Chechen battalion, from Georgia and France, as well as from the Russian Volunteer Corps," he said. Also, nationals of the Baltic states, the Czech Republic, Poland and Romania are among the mercenaries. According to Lebedev, they have brought along military hardware and ammunition.

Their numbers are the same as they were in the early autumn of 2022. The underground resistance stresses that this signal cannot be ignored, since they may possibly attempt to attack the Russian Belgorod Region. A similar ‘influx of mercenaries’ has also been seen in Sumy.

Earlier, Lebedev said that a large number of military from the Azov nationalist formation (designated as a terrorist organization and banned in Russia) could be seen in the heart of Kharkov.
