Oil reservoir damaged in explosion in Russia’s Belgorod Region

The incident caused no casualties

MOSCOW, March 5. /TASS/. An oil reservoir was damaged in a blast in the Gubkin municipal district in Russia’s borderline region of Belgorod, regional emergencies officials told TASS.

"Russian Emergencies Ministry staffers are working at the scene of an emergency in the Gubkin municipality. According to preliminary data, an oil reservoir has been damaged," officials said in a statement.

The incident caused no casualties. Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov earlier reported a fire at an infrastructure facility following an explosion outside Gubkin. According to Telegram channels, an oil reservoir is on fire.
