MOSCOW, January 11. /TASS/. Russian forces have learned how to counter Ukrainian sea drone attacks, Ukrainian Navy Commander Alexey Neizhpapa said.
"As we use technology, the enemy develops countermeasures," he said in an interview with Ukraiynskaya Pravda. "Some of our tricks, utilization tactics, which worked in 2022 and 2023, will not pass in 2024. So, you need to change tactics, change the technical specifications of everything you do."
He said the conflict will soon start going through a period of "very heavy drone wars."
The Russian Defense Ministry regularly reports successful strikes on Ukrainian uncrewed boats in the Black Sea. For example, on December 30 last year, a patrol speedboat of the Russian Black Sea Fleet hit a Ukrainian Navy drone traveling in the direction of Crimea, and another Ukrainian sea drone was destroyed by Russian naval aviation on December 1.
