MOSCOW, December 20. /TASS/. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro's visit to Russia will not take place before the end of this year, however, it remains on the agenda and its dates are being agreed upon, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
"The dates [of Maduro's visit] are being agreed upon, now we can say that it will not take place before the end of the year," the spokesman said. He pointed out that "this visit is on the agenda." "As soon as the conditions are agreed upon, this visit will take place," Peskov said.
Earlier, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov said that Maduro's visit to Moscow was planned for December. Venezuelan ambassador to Moscow, Jesus Rafael Salazar Velasquez, also reported about the Venezuelan president's plans to visit Russia in December. According to him, Maduro plans to discuss with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin the cooperation between the two countries, which includes 15 different areas.
