There was a long and detailed meeting that involved the deputy prime ministers, the heads of government agencies, cabinet members, and companies’ CEOs, says Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov

RIYADH, December 6. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud thoroughly compared positions on issues of mutual interest, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

"First, there was a rather long and detailed meeting that involved the deputy prime ministers, the heads of government agencies, cabinet members, and companies’ CEOs. They thoroughly compared positions on the areas where the parties are interested in expanding and deepening cooperation. It’s about economic, investment and cultural cooperation, and exchange of experience," Peskov noted.

He pointed out that Saudi Arabia was expected to host the 2030 World Expo and the 2034 FIFA World Cup. "Our experience in hosting major international events is hard to overestimate," the Kremlin spokesman said.
