MOSCOW, March 3. /TASS/. The terrorist attack in Russia’s Bryansk Region on March 2 will be carefully investigated and all the necessary preventive measures will be taken to avert such incidents in the future, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.

"Yesterday’s terrorist attack will certainly be investigated in detail, and we will take the necessary measures to avert such incidents in the future," Peskov stated at a news briefing.

On March 2, Ukrainian saboteurs infiltrated a border area of Russia’s Bryansk Region. Official reports say two people were killed in the attack and a boy, born in 2012, was wounded.

Russia’s Federal Security Service reported that together with Russian Defense Ministry forces, it conducted "actions to destroy the armed Ukrainian nationalists who violated the state border." Russian President Vladimir Putin slammed the incident as an act of terrorism.
