Ukrainian attack on town in Russia’s Belgorod Region leaves two people injured

The governor specified that windows and store-fronts in the shopping mall, as well as two cars on the adjacent parking lot were damaged

TASS, October 19. Two people sustained wounds in a Ukrainian attack on the town of Shebekino in the Belgorod Region in southwestern Russia on Wednesday, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

"Shebekino came under fierce fire <…>. A man is in critical condition after being wounded in his chest, he is being given all the necessary medical assistance, and a woman is currently being taken to the main district hospital. Civilian facilities were shelled, including a shopping mall and a sports and recreation center," Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.

The governor specified that windows and store-fronts in the shopping mall, as well as two cars on the adjacent parking lot were damaged. As of 11:25 Moscow time, Shebekino was still being shelled.
