Sweden to send up to ten Leopard tanks to Ukraine — defense minister

Sweden’s overall assistance to Ukraine has amounted to 960 million US dollars

STOCKHOLM, February 24. /TASS/. Sweden’s government plans to send about ten Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, Swedish Defense Minister Pal Jonson said on Friday.

According to the minister, tanks will be sent as soon as possible. He also said that Sweden will also supply Ukraine with air defense systems.

Sweden’s overall assistance to Ukraine has amounted to 10.6 billion kronas (960 million US dollars).
