Two more Ukrainian UAVs destroyed over Russia’s Volgograd region

There were no casualties or destruction after the attempted attack, the region’s governor Andrey Bocharov said

MOSCOW, December 17. /TASS/. Air defense systems destroyed two more Ukrainian drones over the territory of Russia's Volgograd region, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

"This morning, an attempt by the Kiev regime to launch a terrorist attack on the territory of Russia using aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles was foiled. Two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by operational air defense systems over the Volgograd region," the statement said.

Earlier, the ministry said that during the night 33 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems over the Rostov, Lipetsk and Volgograd regions.

There were no casualties or destruction after the attempted attack, the region’s governor Andrey Bocharov said.
