Russian air defenses intercept another drone in Kursk Region that borders Ukraine

MOSCOW, October 27. /TASS/. Another drone, sent by the Kiev government to attack facilities in Russia, was intercepted by Russian air defenses above the Kursk Region that borders Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday.

"The Kiev regime’s yet another attempt to attack facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation with a fixed-wing drone was foiled at 11:50 p.m. Moscow time on October 26. On-duty air defense units intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle above the territory of the Kursk Region," the ministry said.

Earlier, the ministry reported that a Ukrainian drone had been intercepted near the city of Kurchatov in the Kursk Region at around 9:00 p.m. Moscow time.
