PATRIOT PARK (Moscow Region), November 2. /TASS/. An uncrewed boat modeled after the BK-10 high-speed attack craft has successfully passed factory tests and is now undergoing combat trials, CEO of the Kalashnikov Group Alan Lushnikov told TASS.
"The uncrewed BK-10 boats have successfully passed factory tests. We are now moving on to combat testing," he told reporters.
In August, Lushnikov told TASS Director General Andrey Kondrashov in an interview that the Kalashnikov Group planned to develop an uncrewed boat based on the BK-10 high-speed assault craft.
The Project 02450 BK-10 high-speed assault boat is designed to transport up to 10 troops, conduct over-the-beach landing, and provide fire support, as well as to conduct counter-piracy and counter-terrorism operations, and assist vessels in distress. The BK-10 has a maximum speed of at least 40 knots.
