Transneft ups transportation of oil products by 10.9% in 2023

According to the statement, supplies to the domestic market rose by 8% to 14.6 mln tons, while exports went up by 12.5%, including from Primorsk and Novorossiysk

MOSCOW, January 10. /TASS/. Transneft increased the volumes of transportation of petroleum products by 10.9% in 2023 to 43.3 mln tons, the company said in a statement.

"In 2023, Transneft increased the volumes of transportation of petroleum products seriously, by 10.9% from 39 to 43.3 mln tons. That said, supplies to the domestic market rose by 8% to 14.6 mln tons, while exports went up by 12.5%, including from Primorsk - by 21% and Novorossiysk - by 5.8%," the statement reads.

With virtually halted exports via product pipelines in the western direction, supplies to EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union) countries, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, are on the rise, the company said, adding that those supplies increased by 29.3% in 2023 compared with the previous year to 530,000 tons.
