Russian oil export to China total 100 mln tons in 2023, to India - 70 mln tons — Transneft

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said earlier that Moscow supplied more oil to China in the first 10 months of this year than during the whole last year

MOSCOW, December 20. /TASS/. Shipments of Russian oil to China totaled around 100 mln tons in 2023, while supplies to India roughly amounted to 70 mln tons, Chief Executive Officer of Transneft Nikolay Tokarev told the Rossiya-24 TV channel, adding that new export directions have also appeared.

"Export volumes to China, India surged multifold, with around 70 mln tons of oil having been supplied to India and roughly 100 mln tons - to China. New directions have appeared such as Egypt, Morocco, Myanmar, Pakistan just recently," he said.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said earlier that Moscow supplied more oil to China in the first 10 months of this year than during the whole last year.
