MOSCOW, November 3. /TASS/. The High Precision Systems Holding Company, part of the state corporation Rostec, will unveil Mnogotochie rounds, which have demonstrated their effectiveness against drones, for the first time at the ORELEXPO International Exhibition of Arms and Hunting Gear, the corporation’s press service reported.
"High Precision Systems Holding will unveil the latest hunting carbines, the MC 572 Vysota and MC 574, for the first time at the ORELEXPO International Exhibition of Arms and Hunting Gear. Both models are intended for high-precision shooting at distances exceeding one kilometer and offer extensive customization options. The holding’s exhibition will also feature the Mnogotochie rounds for the first time, which have demonstrated their effectiveness against drones," the press service said.
It noted that at the exhibition, the holding company will display rounds equipped with the three-element Mnogotochie bullet. The SC-226 5.45x39 caliber and SC-228 7.62x54R caliber ammunition boost the effectiveness of firing at small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) using standard small arms by up to 2.5 times at ranges of up to 300 meters. At the same time, the weapon’s performance characteristics remain unaffected.
The MC 572 Vysota 12.7x108 mm self-loading carbine has an effective firing distance of 1,800 m. The firearm is built around the barrel-block configuration, in which the barrel and receiver form a single, integrated unit that enhances the rigidity of the "cartridge-firearm-shooter" system. This minimizes barrel recoil at the moment of firing and enhances accuracy.
The MC 574 carbine, chambered in 338 Lapua Magnum (8.6x70 mm), is also built around the barrel-block configuration and has a firing distance of up to 1,200 meters. It is manually reloaded using a sliding bolt. The rifle also provides extensive customization options: the trigger mechanism allows adjustments to trigger pull weight and trigger position, while the stock is equipped with an adjustable cheek and shoulder rest. Additionally, the compensator helps reduce recoil during firing.
"We are constantly broadening our range of domestically produced small arms, upgrading existing models, and designing new ones. Today, in the context of import substitution, it is particularly important to provide Russian consumers with high-quality, technologically advanced products that match foreign models. The MC 572 Vysota and MC 574 carbines are capable of satisfying the requirements of even the most discerning shooters. The ORELEXPO international exhibition is an excellent platform for showcasing our latest developments to potential buyers, highlighting the capabilities of our products, and gathering feedback from the professional community and hunting enthusiasts. This dialogue helps us better understand market needs and factor them into the development of new firearm models," High Precision Systems said.
