Shoigu calls talks in Indonesia detailed, thorough

It is emphasized that the discussions on most issues led to concrete outcomes, complete with figures, dates, and contracts specifying when and what agreements would be concluded and signed

JAKARTA, February 25. /TASS/. The Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Sergey Shoigu, has summarized the results of his recent working trip to Indonesia, describing the negotiations as thorough and detailed.

Shoigu arrived in Indonesia on Monday for talks with the country's top leadership on key issues regarding bilateral relations, including security and defense, as well as cooperation in other areas of mutual interest.

"With regard to the discussions with the president and the Defense Ministry, they were indeed quite detailed and comprehensive. Most of the substantive conversations were distributed among various agencies and ministries. Our delegation is quite large, encompassing nearly all agencies involved in security, as well as those focused on the economy, agriculture, energy, banking, finance, and military cooperation," Shoigu stated.

He emphasized that the discussions on most issues led to concrete outcomes, complete with figures, dates, and contracts specifying when and what agreements would be concluded and signed.

Shoigu noted that investment activity was a separate focus of discussion, particularly in the areas of energy and the experience of Indonesian colleagues in protecting bioresources.
