Russian air defenses destroy 51 Ukrainian drones overnight

MOSCOW, November 15. /TASS/. Russian air defenses destroyed 51 drones over various regions overnight, including 36 over the Krasnodar region in the south, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday.

"Overnight, the Kiev regime’s attempts to carry out terror attacks on targets in Russia using fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles were foiled. Air defense units on duty intercepted and destroyed 51 Ukrainian drones: 36 over the Krasnodar Region, three over the Republic of Crimea, two - over the Belgorod Region and ten over the Sea of Azov," the ministry said.

Krasnodar Region Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said two municipalities in the region - the town of Krymsk and the Krasnoarmeisky district - came under attack.

"In Krymsk, drone fragments fell on grounds adjacent to four houses, causing no casualties but damaging the roof of a house and a car. In the village of Poltavskaya in the Krasnoarmeisky district, drone fragments damaged the roof of a house and smashed windows in another one. No casualties were reported as well," the official wrote on Telegram.
