As a result, militants sustained serious material damage and losses in manpower

MOSCOW, March 1. /TASS/. Russian aerospace forces delivered airstrikes on a terrorists’ base in the Syrian Idlib governorate, Vadim Kulit, deputy chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria (a division of the Russian defense ministry), said on Friday.

"On February 29, Russian aerospace forces struck terrorists’ base near the settlement of Qasih in the Idlib governorate. As a result, militants sustained serious material damage and losses in manpower," he said.

He also said that during the day, four shelling attacks on the positions of government forces from the positions of the Jabhat al-Nusra (outlawed in Russia) were reported in the Idlib de-escalation zone.

Apart from that, according to Kulit, three violations of the deconfliction protocols of December 9, 2019 linked with the flights by the US-led coalition unmanned aerial vehicles were reported in Syria in the past 24 hours.
