MOSCOW, October 31. /TASS/. The Russian Aerospace Forces delivered a strike on facilities controlled by militants responsible for attacks on the Syrian military, the deputy chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria said on Tuesday.
"The Russian Aerospace Forces delivered air strikes on facilities controlled by illegal armed groups, those responsible for attacking the positions of the Syrian military," Rear Adm. Vadim Kulit said. "Up to ten militants were killed."
In his words, "two underground hideouts and a warehouse with drone parts near the settlements of Inkzik and Kansafra were hit" in the course of the strike.
The Russian official said that one Syrian serviceman was injured during an earlier militant shelling that targeted the positions of the Syrian military in the Abbad district. The shelling came from militant-controlled areas near the settlement of Afes.
In a separate development, the Russian center registered 15 violations committed by aircraft of the US-led coalition in the Al-Tanf area of Syria over the past day. They were committed by two pairs of F-15 fighter jets, three pairs of F-16 fighters, one pair of Rafale fighters, a pair of Typhoon fighters and one MQ-1C multirole unmanned aerial vehicle.
