Drone downed in Crimea, debris fell in field, no casualties, destruction — governor

A previous similar attack took place on March 21 in the north of Crimea

SIMFEROPOL, March 29. /TASS/. A drone was shot down in the Simferopol district of Crimea, the region’s governor Sergey Aksyonov reported on his Telegram channel on Wednesday.

"A drone was downed in the Simferopol district. It fell in the field. There are no casualties or destruction. Trust only credible sources of information," Aksyonov said.

An aide to the governor of Crimea Oleg Kryuchkov said on his Telegram channel that the Ukrainian forces may have tried to "coordinate" their strike. "Our electronic warfare system has worked. The same thing took place several weeks ago. Most likely it was a Tu-141 Strizh (reconnaissance drone - TASS)," Kryuchkov wrote.

A previous similar attack took place on March 21 in the north of Crimea. Debris damaged a house and a store, injuring one person. An aide to the governor of Crimea Oleg Kryuchkov then reported that the drones targeted civilian facilities, as there were no military facilities nearby. However, each drone contained explosives and shrapnel.
