MOSCOW, October 31. /TASS/. Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu has discussed the grain deal with his Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akar over phone, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Monday.
"On October 31, Russian Defense Minister Army General Sergey Shoigu held telephone talks with Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar. They discussed the suspension of Russia’s participation in the implementation of agreements on food exports from Ukrainian ports within the framework of the Black Sea Grain Initiative," the report said.
Russia suspended its participation in the Black Sea Grain Initiative after Russian ships and vessels in Sevastopol Bay were attacked by drones on October 29.
