Ukraine’s security forces implode vat with fertilizer to accuse Russia of chemical attack

No servicemen or local residents were harmed in this provocation

MOSCOW, May 11. /TASS/. The members of the Security Service of Ukraine and nationalists imploded, presumably, a vat with ammonium nitrate in the Kharkov Region in order to accuse Russia’s Armed Forces of using chemical weapons, head of Russia’s National Defense Control Center Mikhail Mizintsev reported on Wednesday.

"Today, around 14:00, in the vicinity of the Dolgenkoye community in the Kharkov Region, in order to pin the blame on the Russian army for using chemical weapons, the Ukrainian Security Service and nationalists imploded a vat with fertilizer, presumably, with ammonium nitrate, which caused a cloud of orange-colored smoke which dispersed after some time," the military official who also heads Russia’s Joint Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine said.

According to the general, no servicemen or local residents were harmed in this provocation.

He also noted that the Russian side repeatedly warned of such provocations prepared by the Ukrainian nationalists. According to Mizintsev, their main goal is to receive additional military aid from the West.
