Stele with Ukrainian flag blown up in Kharkiv — interior ministry

Investigation is underway at the site of the incident

KIEV, April 7. /TASS/. Unidentified persons have blown up a stele with Ukrainian flag in Kharkiv, the press service of regional Department of Internal Affairs said on Tuesday.

"In the morning today, an explosion occurred in the Dzerzhinsky district, as a result of which a part of a stele with the state [Ukrainian] flag was blown up. Several windows were shattered in the building of the Kharkiv National Medical University on the Pravda Prospect. No one was injured," the press service said.

The police said "representatives of the main department of Ukraine’s Interior Ministry in the Kharkiv Region immediately went to the site, along with the city police department, Dzerzhinsky district department, investigative team together with explosive experts."

Investigation is underway at the site of the incident.
