According to Yulia Mendel, all the country’s authorities can offer under these circumstances is evacuation

MOSCOW, October 29. /TASS/. Ukraine is losing territory amid the ongoing conflict while the authorities indulge in military illusions, Yulia Mendel, former press secretary to Vladimir Zelensky, stated.

"You can talk about any military illusions you want, but the reality is clear: Ukraine is getting smaller on the map, and so is the number of Ukrainians," she wrote on her X page.

According to Mendel, all the country’s authorities can offer under these circumstances is evacuation.

She has repeatedly criticized Zelensky for escalating the military conflict. According to Mendel, Ukrainians hate her former boss because he is sacrificing the lives of thousands of people for his own personal interests and refuses to make peace. As she has emphasized, Ukraine risks losing its independence and the nation itself unless it agrees to realistic negotiations to resolve the conflict.
