Israeli attacks kill 4,230 civilians in Lebanon since March 2 — health ministry

The number of wounded has reached 12,179

BEIRUT, June 25. /TASS/. Lebanon’s Health Ministry has updated the casualty figures for civilians killed during military operations in the south and east of the country.

"The total number of Lebanese killed since the military escalation began on March 2 has risen to 4,230, while the number of wounded has reached 12,179," the ministry said in a report published on X.

The health ministry said that Israel continues to violate the ceasefire despite the truce declared between the parties on June 19. "Israeli attacks have killed seven people in the Nabatieh area since Tuesday, June 23," the ministry said.

Rescue teams also recovered the bodies of 29 citizens from the rubble in southern areas during clearance operations after the bombings.
