PREVIEW: China’s special envoy to visit Moscow during tour on Ukrainian settlement

MOSCOW, March 3. /TASS/. Special Representative of the Chinese Government on Eurasian Affairs Li Hui will arrive in Moscow on March 3 within the framework of his second tour aiming to seek ways to settle the Ukrainian conflict.

It is expected that, in addition to Russia, Li Hui will visit the EU headquarters, Poland, Ukraine, Germany and France. According to Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, in Moscow, he is slated to meet with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin.

Before the tour, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Mao Ning stressed that the "main objective of the upcoming round of shuttle diplomacy is to build consensus for ceasefire and pave the way for peace talks.".
