MOSCOW, November 3. /TASS/. The United States announced a yet another round of anti-Russian sanctions on Thursday, but they are futile as the Russian economy continues to grow, Russian Ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov told Channel One.

"New anti-Russian sanctions were announced just today," he said. "Many foreign companies trying to work with Russia under these circumstances have been sanctioned."

"What is the main conclusion to be drawn in that regard?" he asked rhetorically. "Just take a look at what is happening now. Our agricultural sector is coping. Our planes keep taking off. Our economy tends to grow."
