MOSCOW, October 21. /TASS/. Russian Ambassador in Washington Anatoly Antonov on Thursday said talks are necessary to determine the shape of world order in various areas.
"We need negotiations where we can define the shape of world order. While, for example, things are clear for me in the military-political area, there are very big questions in the economic area," the diplomat said on Rossiya-24 television.
According to Antonov, the idea of discussing the European and world future by "10 or 12 countries" is not new: "Such an idea exists in some progressive circles in the United States of America. Regarding thinking about a new international order."
As of now "two civilizations have collided, and the result of the collision is only one. It all depends on us: whether we will be able to withstand this pressure, whether we will be able to stand firmly on our feet and, most importantly, whether we will be able to quickly restore our economy and get the economic and military potential that will force them (the collective West - TASS) to talk to us as an equal," the ambassador said.
